Meu sonho...

Every day, every hour, every minute.

Every day I wake up and think about Braga.
Up to date, informed about the ongoing saga,
Read the sh!t sports rags (journais) and think about the next game,
Who will be playing, who will the manager name?

Driven to distraction by the rubbish that some journalists write,
That players have no courage, that they have no fight,
10 pages each for them, ten lines sometimes for us,
That Braga have no class and what is all the fuss,

Little do they know how deep the feeling grows,
To be Bracarense, and courage that it shows,
Fighting against the system that tries to keep us down,
Calling us Benficistas from up north in a little town,

This is a city of pride, where the house of Benfica is dead,
The pride of Bragistas is no longer a weakened thread,
The children are slowly but surely growing with a winner,
They talk of their team, over lunch and over dinner,

We are not Guimaraes, and never have we been,
Sell tickets for 4€, for 30,000 on television to be seen,
Don't need huge police escorts, when they come to Braga to pass,
Most people here are humble, they have education and class,

Sporting are divers (mergularistas), P P P P Bento talks crap all day,
Liedson always fouling, J Moutinho diving and moaning his way,
The players have no pride, only want to leave and make more money,
Or to be seen in the newspapers with theirs arms around a honey (slang for woman).

I wont say much about Porto, that would be blowing the whistle,
We never had enough money to buy a championship because that's a loaded missile,
They keep on selling their best players, it's great for our club,
Thank you for Renteria, even only he was a sub (no banco),

So we may not have 6 million, but one small thing is sure,
To us the club is heaven sent, our loyal fans are pure,
When we cheer we'll cheer, with voices hoarse,
We'll sing and clap with all our force,

In good times and bad, we'll be by your side,
With the ball in the net or when the ball goes wide,
We keep on breaking records, year after year,
We don't speak spanish, and we have no fear,

The manager lives football, with his heart on his sleeve,
He hopes like a supporter and that they can perceive,
The journey will be long, giant steps are not taken overnight,
But we will be champions and fight a good fight,

Even if they cheat us, we will overcome,
The forces in Lisbon, that want us to come undone,
The newspapers will discount us, and make us look weak and tired,
But Jesus will turn this and make them proud and fired,

There is a growing nation, a nation of vededeiros,
They call us parolos but we are Guerreros,
Our legion of followers grows day by day,
And whispers in the capital, Braga no longer on the fray,

Our march to be champions, grows louder game by game,
Sometimes impatience sneaks in, but thats confidence all the same,
Because we expect more, and deliverance fails to arise,
For me I have great faith, and we'll give them all a surprise,

So beware you, the big boys(os grandes), for we are men on a mission,
This year we have no fear, this championship is one of attrition,
We will last to the final minute, and drive all the doubters out,
So every single game, sing loud and clap and shout,

We are a family, and families stick together,
These days we will remember, forever and forever,
Put away your whistles and open up your heart,
We all love Braga, and the dream on Sunday it will start.

O Karl desde que veio para Braga "agarrou" o nosso Braga como se dele fosse. Quem o vê nos jogos (tirando a parte de que os insultos e comentários são sempre em inglês!) pensaria que era um bracarense fanático. Não. Não é bracarense mas um grande braguista.

O karl também escreve em português, mas ele como não é português sente-se mais à vontade para escrever em inglês e de um modo geral o inglês percebe-se melhor que o francês por exemplo.

Karl écrit en anglais car il est irlandais. Il n'est pas comme toi, une portugaise a vivre en France (je crois). Il est un etranger a vivre a Braga. Il parle un petit peut le portugais mais il ne peut pas écrire un poem en portugais car son portugais c'est pas sufisant.

O Karl não conseguiria escrever um poema em português! Ele é um irlandês que vive em Braga e que vai falando a língua de Camões (a qual muitos gostam espezinhar, escrevendo muito mal....) mas não tem capacidade para escrever o que escreveu na nossa língua.

Deixemo-nos de mentalidades pequenas...

Carvalhinha! Manda de aí umas coisas em alemão! lol
